WORTH CONSUMING!
I normally don’t go in for Starbucks’ frou frou flavored coffees, but I’m obsessed with the Gingerbread Lattes. My brother-in-law works for Starbucks, so I had him procure one of the big bottles of gingerbread syrup for me, so I can have them even when they’re not in season.

I hate Starbucks, the coffee is rubbish and according to my bro and my friend who both used to work there, they treat their staff like cack and have all sorts of weird rules, like you can have a beard and/or moustache or be clean-shaven, but not somewhere in between, which necessitates taking a week off if you want to grow facial stylings.
However, the gingerbread syrup is amazing, and I also got my bro to pilfer some when he worked there. It’s long gone, and you just reminded me of it, and now I want some more!
By the way, this is the first time I’ve been on AllConsuming, and you get my first comment ever, which is rather nice as you were one of my firsts on 43things too!

My BIL likes working for Starbucks, as they are one of the few places that offer part time employees health benefits. He’s studying for the bar exam, so it’s nice that he can work there and get health bennies for he and my sister.
I agree that the coffee isn’t the best, although I’m sort of spoiled on all the fantabulous coffee shops locally.
