an ex-girlfriend picked up this album way back in the day after we watched “Big Night” together (the key point of the film is producing a great meal at a restaurant because Louis Prima is supposed to stop by) and while the girlfriend is no longer with me, I still love this album.

There is a place in my library for big band traditional jazz music and so I picked it up and am glad I did. The duets with Keely Smith are excellent.
