A story about this — 2 years ago
Why oh why is there no glossary of all the slang in there? I’m somewhat of an Anglophile so I have to assume Burgess made all these rassoodocks and veshches and malchicks up from his fertile imagination as I have NO clue what all this means. I think I’m going to abandon this and try the movie instead. Perhaps Kubrick allows for some exposition to explain the odd linguistics.

It comes from Russian
My edition luckily included a glossary.
Now I know some Russian! Klebo is bread, for instance (okay, that’s the only one I can remember right now).
