Still listening so it’s early to place a star rating and review out there, but it’s definitely a different sound for Simon with Brian Eno aboard. Right now, I’m thinking I like it a bit less than RHYTHM OF THE SAINTS (my favourite Simon effort at this point) but more than his last one YOU’RE THE ONE (which I didn’t DISlike but just felt was more “workmanlike” than this one). It feels like he’s trying to stretch here artistically and maybe seek to get a few younger listeners into the fold.
