You might enjoy the book. Very well written.

Of course, I haven’t read it in awhile, so I can’t remember if you know who did it from the beginning or not. Someone once said there are rules about writing mysteries and two of them are these:

1) The mystery may lie in who did it. In this case, an author cannot have as “whodunnit” someone who doesn’t show up in the book until the last second. or

2) The author may reveal from the beginning “whodunnit” in which case the mystery lies in how they get caught.

I didn’t see the movie. Did they at least keep you guessing on how the guy gets caught?
