NOT WORTH CONSUMING
I’d have to say the book is a million times better. The movie was not as suspenseful and made the clues seem much too easy to figure out. Robert and Sophie were never stymied for longer than 3 seconds. I realize that cramming books into movies requires some shortening, but really. Additionally, I did not like Tom Hanks as Langdon. Or the changed ending.
It wasn’t horrid, but it wasn’t all that great either.

I agree with you. As usual, the book was a lot better and I had high hopes with Tom Hanks in it and Ron Howard making it. It was a struggle for me to watch it to the end. The book was such a suspense/what’s going to happen next and it also had me craving more knowledge about art and religion.
