WORTH CONSUMING!

I think when you watch this film you need to take into consideration that this is not a typical Hollywood film. It has a “foreign film” format, which I’m not really sure how to describe, but I’ll try. Most foreign films concentrate a lot on human interaction, telling a story that doesn’t necessarily have a climax, and a subtle ending where the character has a moment of realization.

The character Stephane was sometimes frustrating to watch – it only he would get his head out of the clouds he’d be able to get what he wanted. The co-worker characters were very unique, but I think it was nice to have that contrast between them (the perverted, twisted coworkers) and Stephanie (the innocent and creative).

I liked the overall cinematography of the film – the dream sequences were especially fun to watch. I guess some people would think it was all just a strange and pointless movie, but I’m a dreamer so I liked it. There is a subtle moral to the story afterall: don’t keep your head too far up in the clouds, otherwise you may miss out on what’s happening in reality.
