I recently read The War Of Don Emmanuel’s Nether Parts by Louis de Bernieres and I loved it. I borrowed Captain Corelli’s Mandolin from the library and probably have accrued ridiculous overdue fees as it’s taking a while to involve myself in the book. Slowly, but surely I’m entering the island of Cephallonia.
