First, let me just say I was in the mood for a more intellectual film when I watched this, so my review isn’t exactly fair:

I was won over by the human characters and the humor. Really, the robots held nothing for me, I could have done without them if they didn’t contribute so much to the killer action sequences.

This movie was about a half an hour too long. I couldn’t wait for it to end. By time we got to the climax, I didn’t really care about what happened to them as long as it meant the movie would come to a close. Some of the side-plots should have been cut out entirely. After all, some were pushed aside for so long that they were hardly worth having!

In short, you tend to forget there is barely a plot because you are so caught up in the amazing effects. However, it could do without that extra half hour. Amazing? Hardly. Stimulating? Sure. It’s a fun little film.
