this has to be one of the greatest musicals ever made

You won me over with this entry! :)

WSS was one of my father’s favorite Broadway shows. I still remember him putting the 33 RPM cast album on the record player and belting out some of the show’s hits.

I remember it as being the first movie I saw that prompted a member of the audience to cry. Until then, I didn’t know film had that power.

I still wince listening to “Tonight” and “Somewhere”.
