It’s easy to pick faults with movies like this: they’re big and dumb, really. But also a LOT of fun! Who cares that it throws in elements necessary to the plot… that mysteriously didn’t get a mention in the first film? Does it matter that there’s a lot of repetition from film one (giant mummy face in water instead of sand, for instance)? Can we bear the smug little child actor?

And yet somehow… I still enjoyed it :)
