Dear god, who paid for this? — 46 weeks ago
NOT WORTH CONSUMING
Now I’m a big B-movie fan and I can suspend disbelief with the best of them, but dear god who paid for this utter pile of crap?
From the ridiculously contrived “plot”, the total lack of interest in establishing any sort of continuity in location in London (one minute they’re in South London, the next they’ve walked to Wembley? WTF?), and the total waste of any decent characters, I’m actually annoyed that I wasted 90-odd minutes of my life on this.
Seriously, don’t waste your time. If you like the first movie this will only make you change your mind.

Yet another bad sequel to a great movie
28 Days Later was awesome. But when you take away the writer, director and all your actors, and hand it off to a new crew to cash in on the popularity of the first, you generally end up with a pretty bad product. 28 Weeks Later joins a long list of bad sequels to great movies.

Sadly it got 3 stars according to the onscreen guide on Time Warner Cable. That’s the only reason I recorded it to DVR. I wasn’t truly a fan of the first one but I did watch it. Once you’ve seen a movie with a sequel, you have to see the sequel. Am I making any sense?

You're making sense
It’s a shame that the film-makers didn’t bother to make any!
