Well, I should have been expecting brain fluff, really!

The story is predictable, disappointingly so. The Cinderella-transformation even more so, and I’m not sure what I thought about the link between dressing ‘better’ (ahem!) and suddenly being a goddess at your job! Oh, and the “size six is fat”? I know it’s a ‘joke’, but still – Hmm.

Maybe because, like start-of-film Andrea, I have zero interest in fashion…?

Meryl Streep, however, is fantastic. I like seeing her in a frothier role. Stanley Tucci also impressed me.

Ah, really – I knew what I was getting, and that’s what I got. Just, disappointing still.
