I am not at all a fan of Stephen King’s writing style – I often find him far too crude and think his themes are obnoxiously repetitive. Despite this, I was drawn to this book, and am thoroughly glad that I was. It was a beautiful love story, but also sufficiently dark – King exposed himself in a very endearing fashion through this work, I think, and deserves praise for it.
