A question I have about this — 1 year ago

Why take what should have been a perfectly good one-hour TV drama and turn it into a full-length movie? The characters are shallow. There is no plot. It’s just hide-and-go-seek with some bad cultural baggage tossed in. Apologies to Jackson and Moore, but this was beneath their acting abilities. Disappointing.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Was this about the missing kid or the neighborhood? An hour into the movie and I still wasn’t sure what it was supposed to be about. If it was the story of the people in the neighborhood, then it needs the time a tv series can give to develop the characters. As it stands, neither plot got the treatment it deserved.
