I felt the first half was still a little slow, but I was enjoying it so much I really didn’t care.

Not as good as the first book, IMHO, and took a while to pick up speed. But still enjoyable and we get to know the characters better!

Oh my God. This is my 9th re-read and I still want to read it. Harry Potter series are ultimate!!!

I’ve started re-reading since there’s less than 4 months to go until HBP, but at my current rate I am going to finish long before July 16th.

I enjoyed reading this book. It gave me a chance to follow up on my favorite characters and go through many more adventures. At this point, J.K was just giving us a taste of the brilliance to come.

I finally finished this one. I take a long time to finish a series!

Well the first Harry Potter was kind of cute so we will see how #2 goes.

better than the second book, I think. I really like the Sirius Black character, and I like how everything weaves together – Rowling’s usual style. Sometimes the plot is too resolved, too completed, but I have a feeling she’s building us up to something big. Perhaps if I was reading things more carefully I would notice the small bits that were straggling.

Now, on to book four …
