I picked this up after having read Zen Shorts, which I think I faintly preferred. Still, the book is very attractive, and the fable is extremely touching and inspirational.

A well-written, well-illustrated book about the meaning of life. Actually kind of an interesting counterpoint to “The Purpose Driven Life,” which I’m also reading.
