It was just all around disappointing. The leading pair would have been brillant without being flanked by Woody Allen, who did a particularly poor job in this film. Certain paranormal factors that had been added into the film could have made it quirky otherwise but the lifeless script made it just seem silly. Annoying writing blunders galore.
For a comedy it wasn’t very amusing. As is the case with many comedies, the success of the entire film rested in the humor which seemed to be a no-show.
The curse of comedies and horror movies…they’re the most difficult genre to make successful.
But I’m still pissed I paid for it on demand…
