11/1/06: I bought a package of Archer Farms’ Chocolate Monkey trail mix early in 2005 at a Target store near Seattle. It contains “chocolate-covered peanuts, chocolate chips, cashews, and coconut.” That summer I took it with me to Utah but did not try it. The stifling July heat of Moab melted the chocolate, making the contents of the package look messy. This fall I took it again to Utah and had some during a hike near Delicate Arch: it was delicious. In spite of the gross appearance caused by the melting, the stuff was fantastic! More of this trail mix is definitely in my future if I can find some. I highly recommend this delicious product.
