I felt it portrayed stargirl as pretty much an ordinary girl with insecrureties. There were some good characters in it. But I hope it doesn’t ruin the first book for me because stargirl was anything but ordinary. It wasn’t nearly as good as the first. But as a massive fan of Stargirl i had to read it. There was something magical about the desert in the first book, in the second it’s a bit of an ordinary place, with lots of people. Stargirl i will read again and again, this I probaly would read twice max.
