This looks just stunning. I put it on in the background but it keeps drawing my eye. You need to watch this in HD on a really big screen.

Almost as good as actually being in all these places, and in many cases, the only way you are ever going to see some of these awe-inspiring images of Earth and the rich variety of life it contains.

Incredible footage and the product of an insane amount of work. Seriously, if you’re going to watch ONE nature documentary in your life, this should be it. I love this kind of stuff and this tops anything I’ve seen. Don’t let the length scare you, you can take it in pieces. Truly magnificent…

I originally saw the Discovery Channel version of this, but since I saw the BBC version in Target (and didn’t mind the subtle differences) I snatched it up. Its a very nice documentary to watch after a long day and you’ve got nothing going on, or to eat dinner and watch. Simply amazing cinematography too.
