I haven’t cried like that since I read the book in 5th grade. Not often does a movie live up to a book, especially my favourite ever book from when I was a kid, but this was great. I loved it. I don’t think I could watch it again though… I was crying practically from the beginning because I knew what was going to happen!!

Damn you, Disney! I should have known better. I spent the last third of the movie crying “like a little girl who dropped her ice-cream cone on the sidewalk”.

A review of this — 1 year agoThis is one of those very few cases in which the movie is better than the book. I rather enjoyed it.
