NOT WORTH CONSUMING
If you haven’t read the book, you will not see the brilliance of the author’s ideas hacked to pieces in this movie, where scenes last 15 – 20 seconds.
If you have read the books Eragon and Inheritance: don’t watch this. It is a complete waste of time. Here’s a key sentence: “My name is Saphira and you are my rider!” Eragon’s struggle to find out her name takes up pages and pages in the book! It ends after a fight between Eragon and Durza (riding a dragon!). What a jip. Damn you Christopher Paolini for allowing this atrocity.
