The Tornado story didn’t grab me as such, mostly because I didn’t have a clue who half the people were, but I really enjoyed the introduction of the characters that I’d never seen before – Vixen and Arsenal (or Red Arrow. Someone).
The thing that made this series, though, was the back-room dealing of the Big Three as they tried to reassemble the Justice League. I really liked the dynamic here. It’s not quite Identity Crisis, but it’s put Meltzer in my list o’ authors to read. I may even try his unillustrated fiction now.
