I enjoy this cd more and more the more I listen to it. It reminds me of Norah Jones and Rachel Yamagata, neither bad company to keep. And both, I might add singer/songwriters from the USA, just to point out that our lowly country is not devoid of its own shining talent.

Listening to Feist’s The Reminder is like sinking into your favorite chair or taking a nice long sip of your favorite drink, there is a certain comfort level here that you can rarely find anywhere else. Peaceful and fresh, there is a song for every second of every day. I strongly recommend this to any music lover, it is certainly one of the best albums of the year.

Feist’s new album The Reminder is just more proof that Canadians are superior to Americans. Her third album is enticing. Her melodies pull you in, and her lyrics make you sink deeper into her spell. Feist’s voice reminds me of Esthero, Cat Power, Neko Case, and Bjork all in one. I know I’m hooked!
