Kind of Blue is arguably the most famous jazz album of all time. Most people have heard these songs before, but they might not have realized they were listening to Miles Davis. Davis is supported by an all-star line-up of jazz greats including John Coltrane, Julian “Cannonball” Adderley, Wynton Kelly, and Bill Evans. Kind of Blue has been described as the pinnacle of modal jazz – but whatever it is, it’s awesome!

Sublimely crafted jazz, even if Miles’ trumpet playing is still as over-piercing as ever.

This is my all time favorite cd. I couldn’t guess how many times I have listened to it, but it is over 200. In the bath, studying, and cooking. Good for any occasion. Go out and give it a listen.
