LOVE Joni. Part oF the soundtrack of my life. She’s always been there.
I had not known my father for more than a cumulative 96 hrs. I was 19 and went on a camping trip with him in northwest penn. While we were out there for two days, and on the morn of the third the campground manager came to see my father before most people woke up. When I woke my father took me aside to let me know that my best friend in the world died in a car crash the day before. The world melted away around me and I was alone. We went back to his house to pack and go back to Moms for the funeral. While we were at his house he put this album on. How cathartic. Thank you Joni and thank you Dad.

But that was “contempt prior to investigation”.
After listening to this album, I find it really hard to say I don’t like Joni Mitchell, ‘cause this is BEAUTIFUL. MY favorite on it is “Green” but I also love “River”, “Case of you”, “Last Time I saw Richard”, “Carey”, “California” and… Pretty much all of ‘em… The only track I’m not crazy about is “Blue”.
I reccomend it.

If you love Joni Mitchell, then go right ahead and get this album. Im pretty certain that people who like her will pretty much love this album. Myself on the other hand, cannot stand her voice! It makes me cringe as it sends a horrible shiver down my spine. Athough her range is excellent, i just hate it for some reason.
I suggest you give it a go, or base your thoughts off other Joni Mitchell albums, but im not going to give this the thumbs up… for what thats worth.
