Ben Gibbard needs to get out of Death Cab and hop on the Postal Service bandwagon. I like it so much more.
I bought this album on vinyl after hearing a few of the songs on a roadtip, and it was well worth the $20. It came with a double-sided poster and a good number of extra songs. (A Shins cover, the Iron & Wine version of “Such Great Heights”, and some other long, weird songs.)
This is in my top five best albums I’ve listened to this year. The songs are catchy, lyrically beautiful, and haunting. Buy this one for sure!
