WORTH CONSUMING!
It’s been too long since my last Miyazaki movie. Nausicaa may now be one of my favorites; it’s similar in theme to Princess Mononoke, but a little lighter and more optimistic. Still, it does have the requisite warplane scenes and horrible destruction of a peaceful village.
I really like his environmental fairytales, but they do make me sad. I doubt we’ll be rescued from our absurd selfish pollution by giant armored insects with golden tentacles. But hey, a girl can dream.
