I just don’t quite understand the attraction to caviar. But I’m just not a fan of overly salty things.

Very salty, doesn’t taste like fish at all (obviously will vary between qualities of caviar.) Great stuff. Good on crackers.

I was at my Tita (Aunt) Helen’s wedding probably about 11 or 12 years ago and I didn’t realize what I was eating. I had taken a cracker with some what looked like little black tapioca pearls (I was young, what can I say?). So, I took a nice large bite of the sucker and realized it was a horridly salty taste. My immediate reaction was to spew it out, but I knew I’d get smacked upside the head by my father, the disciplinarian. So, I found the nearest bathroom, which took forever, probably about 3 minutes later and spit it out in a toilet. I’ll never forget that awful taste.
