Second Worst Movie I've Ever Seen in the Theater — 14 weeks ago
I walked out. Though I never walk out of movies, I was with two people. One on my left who despised the movie, and the one on the right who had already seen it and loved it. I was the one to decide whether we stayed or not. Truthfully, I could stand sitting through it, but I had just had coffee, I was really fridgety, and I’d rather be home watching MST3K with my boyfriend than being in the theater sitting through a movie I didn’t like.
WIthin the first half-an-hour, it became pretty obvious that this was a film made for violence. However, I still found the plot pretty intriguing (though unoriginal) and wanted to see what the twist was on the survivors. I was sorely disappointed. When I found out that 30 years had produced a cannibalistic Hell’s Angels with blunt weapons, and I was presented with a 15 minute action sequence that produced no emotion from me oncesoever, I knew that I wouldn’t want to see the rest of it. Ripoff plot, bad acting, and gore for gore.
