WORTH CONSUMING!
This is one of my favorite films and easily Juzo Itami’s best. It really shows a side of the Japanese that isn’t normally portrayed. The people are very real despite the hyper-real context of the film. It draws on Western influences, but remains uniquely Japanese. And it’s full of food! Like watching the Food Network, only better.
