Wonderful to see all the episodes again—there were some new ones to me—but this collection finishes up with an excellent documentary about how the character came about.

(I LOVE the one where he gets dressed and ready for the day while driving to the dentist. Hilarious.)

Mr. Bean was my first British sitcom. I watched it years ago when I was about 10 years old. This show is what got me hooked on British television.
It’s been years since I’ve watched the show so I’ve decided to rent this set from Netflix. I’m excited to see it after so long. I’m sure it will bring back loads of memories!

rowan atkinson is great in the bean series. much better than the movie. his sketch comedy is great and is enjoyed by myself on one level and my 12 and 9 year old sons on another level. it’s a great way to spend a little time in front of the idiot box.
