i loved how even though it can be over the top you can see some of the things really happening. they don’t have to realy on special gueest starts or something like that. i don’t really like the 5 year leap but i’ll probably continue to watch. it interesting to try and figure out the big mystery of the year.

I haven’t really watched much of this show after the first season, which I loved, until I watched it again last night. The brilliance of this show is how they can take the most absurd situations and make them completely believable.

I enjoyed the season. It was laugh-out-loud funny in a number of places, and all the women did great jobs (although I didn’t have much sympathy for Gabby). Still, I didn’t find it as engrossing as a number of other current shows, like Grey’s Anatomy or especially BSG. Still, worth a watch.

Desperate Housewives is currently my favorite live action TV series. Of course, I’m not really watching any others, and I’m only watching the old sets of Desperate Housewives on my iPod.

But still. It’s a great show, with choice acting by all the major female characters. The plotlines are convincing (even when they’re a little unusual for a normal suburb). The characters are real. The show keeps you guessing, but also repeats the same moral messages over and over again—basically, that there is no definite line between moral and immoral.

It’s a funny show, a dramatic show, a suspenseful show, and sometimes a very sad one. But whatever type of show you enjoy, D.H. has it all. And that’s pretty high praise as I usually disdain most TV series.
