Dageus is totally worthy of being a MacKelter. Even though he has to deal on a daily basis with the 13 druids of the Unseelie, he still manages to find a great love, and makes the ultimate sacrifice. Adam Black is in this story in full force, as well as all the other mythical characters of the Seelie.

Although Kiss of the Highlander was the groundwork, Dark Highlander is one of my all time favorites. If you like romance, time travel, Highlanders and mythical lore, then this book is for you.

I like the dark highlander better than kiss of the highlander… that’s saying, among other things, that I like the evil twin better than the good one. This one was much more steamy, much better written, and made a lot more sense. Very enjoyable, as cheap thrills go.
