“Scotty Doesn’t Know” should have won the Oscar for best song. It rocks!

I’ve seen this movie many times on cable before, but I never got to watch it all the way through, so I have no idea exactly what the film is all about—save for that song “Scotty Doesn’t Know”. I thought that the college jock-type dude singing this song was a mere extra on the movie—well maybe someone who’s had this one shot at Hollywood fame via this movie and then never to be heard from again.

It was only much later, after reading about the Kimmel/Affleck thing and clicking through the related links, when I realized that the guy singing is, in fact, Matt Damon.

Like, whoa! How could I have missed this! In fact, I still had no idea it was Matt Damon until about a minute into this clip. Well color me duh!

Scotty doesn’t know a lot of things. For instance, how to make a web based email to get around his ISP mail account being blocked. I’ll suspend disbelief though else this movie would have no plot and would have ended in 10 minutes.

Stupid movie but insanely funny… although I threw up a little in my mouth during the beach scene full of ugly nude men.

Completely hysterical!!! PPV’d at a friend’s house more or less on a whim- and I laughed harder than I had in months. Potty humor and gratutitous nudity never fail to brighten my day… [sigh]

This flick is hilarious!

Four teenage friends, following their high school graduation, go on a tour of Europe.

They run into some kind of scary characters, and also some very friendly ones. Some are a little of both!

It’s a riot. The humor is good. The actresses are beautiful. The guys are funny.

After seeing this movie, I kind of would not mind seeing a little of Europe myself.

The actress who played Buffy’s little sister the last couple years of the series is in this movie. She plays one of two twins, which is a riot in and of itself.

Favorite quote: “They are the worst twins ever!”

The ending is pretty good too. Great writing, great acting. An all round very good romantic adventure comedy.
