Women with Attention Deficit Disorder: Embrace Your Differences and Transform Your Life, by Sari Solden, is the one most helpful book on living with Adult ADD that I have found. Once I stopped feeling guilty for not doing many of things that one apparently has to do if one is a “responsible adult” and learned to adjust my life to work around my weaknesses and make the most of my strengths, I became much more productive.
I can do some things that my husband, who has PTSD (Post-Tranumatic Stress Disorder) and anxiety disorder cannot do. He can do some things that I, with A.D.D., cannot do; and help me through those things that are a challenge, when I have to do them.
And so, between the two of us, we lick the platter clean. :)
