The audiobook is much funnier than simply reading the printed page. There were a few entries I found off-putting but if you like Bill Maher you will enjoy this book.

Even though I am a rabid Republican, Bill Maher makes me laugh. I went to the show in LA a couple months ago answering the call for “more conservatives in the audience”. That seemed to get me good seats. At the beginning during his monolouge when he asked how many conservatives were in the audience it was just me and one other guy. Anyway, what I respect is the fact the Bill makes you think. His jokes are many times exagerations and use profanity to make the point, but there is usually a point. He is truly concerned and wants other people to be. He is not just there to make us laugh.

This book is no exception. It makes you laugh and think. It is basically a reprint of his “new Rules” from the show, but in a very accessible form. It is well worth the read for any conservative or liberal.
