WORTH CONSUMING!
Harper Lee’s language is elegant and spare in this novel recalling events from her childhood and that beautiful language carries over into the script for this film. Her words paint pictures that come to life before your eyes. Just a trivia note: the character “Dill” is based on Harper’s childhood friend Truman Capote, who spent summers visiting his aunt, who was Harper Lee’s neighbor.
