WORTH CONSUMING!
Another delightful collection of columns written by Berton Roueche about medical mysteries. Nice for people who like TV shows like “House”. We meet people poisoned by cut heroin and “lepers” (a term whose use is now frowned upon. Interesting facts: Leprosy is actually very difficult to catch, and is one of the most sluggish of diseases. Any medical mystery written by Roueche comes highly recommended, and this collection is no different. Too bad it hasn’t been reinstated in print as its predecessor volume has.
