i heard so many people go on and on about how great this movie was, how great the animation was, etc. i was really disappointed when i saw it because they had build it up so much. The story wasn’t that great. The musical number about hot chocolate was lame. The technology was the same stuff used in LotR for Gollum only upgraded. i wasn’t impressed.

I think this was a cute Christmas movie for children, but I couldn’t get past Tom Hanks doing so many of the voices. I just don’t love his voice or think he has that great of range. I wouldn’t see it again, but I wouldn’t recommend against it, because it does have a message about the meaning of Christmas. I just didn’t think it was as great as everyone said it was.
