She’s incredible. This album is very different from “Begin to Hope” (the first of hers I’d listened to, which is more sort of radio-friendly) but equally as good if not better due to its uniqueness. Okay, I’ll probably listen to the radio-friendly stuff more often, but it doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate her more offbeat songs. The kind of things she can do with her voice, her quirky and often humorous lyrics (I’ve been using the word “pizzatarian” lately), and the fact that I don’t even know who to compare her to are all factors in this really captivating CD.
