Some parts are wonderful. But the story line—hmm. Small, gregarious, verbose creature latches onto large, sulky, morose creature who, were these two creatures human, could easily be described as misanthropic for a comic misalliance and the large creature, while inadvertently helping the small creature, doesn’t want to be friends with it … Where have I heard this one bef—uh, wait a minute—it’s coming to me….

It’s not Mike Meyers and Eddie Murphy, but shades of Shrek!

I LOVE this movie. Really witty script – enjoyment for kids and adults alike. Re-watched (and re-watched etc…...) to refresh memory before Ice Age 2 gets released (this Thursday….)
