One of my favorite Michael Jackson albums — 32 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

We had this on cassette tape when it first came out. My sister and I used to listen to it all the time. I decided to hit iTunes and get some of my favorites from the album today.

One of my favorites from the album is Jam. I love that song so much. My sister and I would sing it all the time, but we never got the lyrics right. Michael is a great singer, but sometimes it’s a little hard to understand what he’s singing. That doesn’t stop me from enjoying him though. :)

The music video for this song is the reason I love the song so much though. I love the scenes with Michael Jordan teaching Michael Jackson how to play basketball. Michael Jackson is so much shorter than Michael Jordan, so I loved it when Michael Jackson climbed the ladder to dunk a basket. And of course, the scenes with Michael Jordan learning how to dance like Michael Jackson were very funny. :)

I also really like Remember the Time. It’s a great song, and the video is really great too. Every time I see this video and see Eddie Murphy as an Egyptian pharaoh, I can’t help but think about “Coming to America”. :P

And of course, I love Black or White. I still remember when the video premiered on Fox after the Simpsons. The morphing effects were so amazing when the video first came out, and they are still neat to look at today.

I also love Heal the World. It’s such a beautiful song. The video for this song is so moving. It really makes you want to do something to try to help our situation on this Earth.

Another song that I really love is Will You be There. It’s a beautiful song, and the choir harmonizing in the chorus is really amazing. I always have loved listening to a well performed choir.

But, other than my favorites, I really like every song on this album except for She Drives Me Wild. The background sounds are a little to distracting for me to enjoy it. Though, I do like the harmonizing parts of the song.
