Interesting, could have been better — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

While the main portion of the documentary was intriguing I feel that as a whole it would have been a lot better if the creator wouldn’t have let his resentment against his former school take control. This is especially obvious near the end. Still, interesting to watch.

Intriguing ideas, mediocre execution — 2 years ago

The director has some scholars and atheists present evidence that Jesus may not have existed. The evidence is persuasive, though completely one-sided.

The director comes across as unlikeable in his desire to mock believers, and his interrogations of ordinary people about their beliefs made me uncomfortable. I suspect this was his sarcastic sense of humor coming out, but it undercut the persuasiveness and seriousness of his arguments.
