NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Occasional flashes of brilliance, unfortunately rather diluted.

This book has something like 800 pages.

When I was finished reading it, I immediately read it again.

One of my all-time favorite books.

WORTH CONSUMING!

An enthralling book detailing the legend of King Arthur through the eyes of the women involved – Igraine, trapped in a loveless marriage to the Duke of Cornwall; Viviane, the magical Lady of the Lake; Morgaine, the aspiring priestess of Avalon; Morgause, the ambitious queen and Gwenhwyfar, the pious High Queen of Britain. The story of these women as they struggle through life and love is heart-wrenching, gritty and real, and Bradley captures their emotions and their lives with such perfection that the story comes to life before the reader’s very eyes.

... from the women’s point of view, with hefty doses of magic and fantasy.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I love this book, but it has also been a slow read for me. I am reading carefully as to not miss anything.
