A story about this — 49 weeks ago
This is titled Yoga for Your Eyes, but it is not a yoga tape. The dvd contains a bunch of exercises designed to improve your vision by relaxing, stretching, and strenghtening your eye muscles. You are supposed to take off your contacts or glasses before you do the tape. I was skeptical, but I figured that I’d give it a try.
The first part (the palming) was really relaxing. Next, we were supposed to gage our level by looking for letters that we could not see well on a wall or something. I chose this Cuba poster I have. I know that it says Cuba, but I couldn’t see the letters well without my contacts. Anyway, after doing the second exercise, we were supposed to look at the letters again and see if they looked any different. I was shocked to notice that I could see the Cuba letters clearer and that I could notice more space between the letters. I noticed improvement as well after doing the periphery exercise, too. I don’t know if it was the power of suggestion or the exercises, but something worked there. And I just did it once, too.
I must admit that I did not do all of the exercises before sending the dvd back. However, I would really recommend this to anyone looking to improve their vision. The guy who made the tape supposedly was born legally blind but can now drive a car without glasses or contacts. Who knows if it is true, but I guess all that matters is if it works.
