Amazing, punchy book in Palahniuk’s terse style. It’s incredible how true to the book the movie was. Loved them both.

Slightly different from the standard Gibson fare in that it’s set pretty much in the present (2003). I really enjoyed it, although the ending left a little to be desired.
If you love music, you owe it to yourself to read this book.

Epic, sprawling sci-fi in a meticulously created world that is the hallmark of Hamilton’s work. Didn’t actually realise that it was part of a sequence until the incredibly frustrating ending. Looking forward to the conclusion.
I think MacDonald wrote this book with sole intention of seeing how many plot twists he could throw in before readers’ gave up in disgust. Enjoyable but frustrating read.
