Warren writing villains playing “heroes”, good times. Political commentary mixed with funny dialogue make for a good read. Sadly Mike Deodato Jr.’s art is prolly at it’s weakest in this run. Throw in a cpl of Thunderbolt one-shots that centered around Civil War and it’s worth picking up.

Special Features are lame.
Comics that were available online. (Still they were nicely animated.) Alternate ending which is the 2nd disc and a “digital copy” you can put on your PC.
No commentary.
No Making of.
Hell they could have just put it on one disc and had a play option for the alternate ending. (and some commentary to it would have been nice. Especially when you call it controversial.)
Great movie but I’m a nerd for Special Features and thought I’d get more with a 2 Disc set.

It’s a great and funny read. If you’re a fan of John Hughes films you’ll like this. It’s got that feel to it of great characters you care about.
And I just loved the dialogue.
Rarely do I want to see the film on a book I like but I’m kinda excited to see how they do it.

I’ll still say it, read the book. I’ll recommend Wanted based the visuals alone. In fact check out NightWatch and DayWatch.
The story has some holes but I enjoyed it. I tend to be critical of films translated from other media but just tried to watch and enjoy and it was fun.
2 Things I wanted was Chapter 2 and the Ending from the comic to be reflected well in the movie. It wasn’t an exact reflection but I enjoyed it.

Just a good story but bogged down in continuity. Remove all the references to Marvel for the past 30 years and you have likable characters and a decent story. Though I wasn’t a fan of the idea cause it looked like a Teen Titans Marvel style I liked it was ended at 12 issues.
Bring em back and just write good stories.

As I watched this I was entertained but Kenneth is just better on Stern. Or was as I realized that Kenneth died recently while in jail awaiting trail. Then it just became sad.
Plus this video is just Kenneth’s material again, again and again. It should almost be rereleased with commentary from friends and family. It just reminds me of Rupert Pumpkin if he blew smoke out of his eyes.

This book wanted to be a Marvel version of Dark Knight Returns. Even the art was similar. The story however was good and deflected from the art and the attempt to be a copy. I wanted more of JJJ and Peter talking. Maybe for those that haven’t read Dark Knight Returns it might stand alone.

I do disagree with the homophobic tones mentioned by the other posters but understand where they might see that. I won’t spoil anything but I highly recommend it. High suspense and gore.

If you know nothing about The Ramones, watch it. If you’ve read and seen all the other films, docu and books, then you’ve already seen it.
