A story about "Project Grizzly"

Project Grizzly

by Peter Lynch

A weird, weird documentary. Interesting to see that rural Canadian men are so similar to rural U.S. men, but beyond that I just ended up feeling sorry for this guy. If the point of the film was to laugh at him then I think that is in bad taste. If it wasn’t to laugh at him…I can’t possibly come up with a reason for making this film. Either way, the film left me unsettled.

I’m not sure the filmmaker actually understood the difference between coincidence (an occurrence of two or more events at one time apparently by mere chance) and just a bizarre, unlikely occurrence.
I’m also not sure the film really needed to be three hours long. And Tom Cruise creeped me out big time.
In spite of all that, I still think the film was worth it. Good music, some good tension, some interesting characters, and it left me thinking about monogamy, family, and love.

Like it really didn’t matter because it couldn’t be fixed now anyway.

Made me think about metaphysical cannibals.

Made me look at birds differently.
